An Open Apology to Haplo, the CQC bird + Reduction Request. - duckathan_ - 06-27-2026

Ban reason attached.

I wanted to start this by saying I do not want my ban lifted fully, I request a reduction. After contacting Lilith, she corrected the ban from perm. to one week. I understand what I did ruins the victim-player's experience. I want to explain that I reacted so emotionally because as they were arrested for their syndicate equipment, they decided to threaten RR via spacing in LOOC. I prompted them to stop in LOOC and didn't take it in character. They did stop, but continued to come to security to mess with me, slip me, steal my e-shotgun, etc., for the rest of the round. It seemed like they were going to go through with their LOOC grudge.

I did what I did because I come from a server with a wildly different culture. Unfortunately, at the cost of my and others' enjoyment at times. Round removal, corruption roleplay at an extreme, is allowed. I was not going to let them RR me, so I did it first. I came back from being AFK to see them before me in Security lobby. I preserved their body with a body bag. When we got to CC I cryo'd, then dropped one inflammatory "Cry about it" when they started to break their death amnesia and continued to talk trash about it and I in LOOC.

I apologize, and I am still learning this server's culture. Two wrongs don't make a right. I ask for a reduction because up until this point, for about -33 hours, excluding my time transfer, I've been this server's only security officer besides Cicak-Cicak and Skyler (at times) and I've been doing quite well. I enjoy Byrd's brand of Security roleplay a lot, and enjoy focusing on helping others and defending the crew like a Star-Trek redshirt rather than being the vindictive warden.

Thanks for reading,
